Process for Admissions to eMBEDDED LEARNING Graduate Programs Offered through Wilkes University & Contact Information


Process for Graduate Program Admissions
  1. Apply for Admission

  2. Wilkes University welcomes applications from individuals holding both a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with an appropriate major and a teaching certificate. Teachers must be employed full-time at the K-3 level in an educational institution. Applications are accepted year-round and acceptance decisions are made on a rolling basis.

    Please submit the following:

    • Application for Enrollment
    • $40 Application Fee
    • Official transcripts from institution(s) where you earned your bachelor's degree and teaching certification, plus official transcripts from any master's degrees earned
    • Two letters of recommendation (only one letter is required for the Letter of Endorsement)
    • Copy of teaching certificate

    You may register for your first class while completing the admissions requirements. Once all materials have been submitted, your file will be reviewed and you will be notified by mail of the admissions decision. An academic advisor will be assigned to you at that time.

  3. Registration with eMBEDDED LEARNING for Graduate Courses

    1. a. You may register for your first course by visiting our course site at http://www.embeddedlearning.com/grad/admissions/registration.cfm or contacting eMBEDDED LEARNING at 1-888-235-6555. You may register for courses before, during or after you submit an application for admission for the Master's Degree. You may take up to nine credits before you must declare for the Master's Degree or Letter of Endorsement program. Tuition payment will be made at the time of registration for the graduate course with a credit card.
    2. When your registration is completed you will select a section with a graduate facilitator. Study groups normally will consist of 5-10 people.

  4. Advising

  5. Upon acceptance, all MSEd students will be assigned an academic advisor and provided with a Program Plan to assist them in tracking degree requirements and courses completed. Advisor approval is not needed in order to register for eMBEDDED LEARNING coursework

  6. Completion of a Course

  7. Wilkes University posts grades to student accounts within 10-15 business days after the session ends. Once grades have been posted, students can access their grades at anytime by logging into the Wilkes portal.
